"Njenga was defrauded. We were consulting when the DCI called for questioning, but the prosecutors stopped and arrested her," said Kioni.

Njenga allegedly was forced to plead guilty after a five-hour interrogation at the DCI office today despite being banned in Nakuru.

"They harass him as they harass Kenyans. They went to the Kiambu court, but they took him in hiding," he said.

Njenga did not leave the DCI office, as did Azimio's team members Kioni, Martha Karua, George Wajackoya and Eugene Wamalwa.

Njenga is believed to have been kidnapped and taken to Kiambu Court in a car with blacked-out windows.
